Five steps to rent a car at
LongTerm Car Rental Curaçao

If you are looking for a reliable car during your stay in Curaçao, you have come to the right place.

How does renting a car with us work?

 

Step 1 Availability

If you want to know if there is a car available in the period you want to rent, send a request via the website, an email or WhatsApp or give us a call. We will check as soon as possible if we have a rental car available for you. If we do, we will send you an email with a free quote and we’ll put a ‘pencil reservation’ in our schedule

 Step 2 Booking

In order to make your reservation final, you need to transfer the deposit. The deposit also covers the mandatory deductible of the all-risk insurance. If you are 23 years or older you pay a deposit of 600 guilders (350 euros / 350 USD) and if you are younger you pay a deposit of 1000 guilders (550 euros / 600 USD).

 Step 3 Confirmation

Once we have received your payment, we will confirm your reservation and may ask you for some details to finalize the rental car contract. Just before your arrival on Curaçao we have contact to check the last details.

 Step 4 Receiving the rental car

You can pick up the rental car at our address. If you don't have a lift, we will pick you up at your accommodation. Up to 10km from Bottelier we do this free of charge, above that we charge a small fee. Pick up at Hato airport is prohibited for all car rental companies on Curaçao that are not located there, this includes LongTerm Car Rental Curaçao.

When we arrive at the rental car, we go over the rental contract together and make notes of any scratches already on the car.

Then you pay the rent (when renting long term that is the first rental period). You can pay the rent in cash in Antillean Guilders. (Unless you have already paid the rent in advance of course)

 Step 5 Enjoying Curaçao

And then... you drive away with your own Kia Picanto.

However, it doesn’t stop there for us: You can always call, app or email us if you have any questions or do encounter any problems, even if they have nothing to do with the rental car. If you rent with us for a longer period of time, we will see each other each month for a quick check of the rental car.

When you return the rental car, you will get a lift, if you want and if there is no damage, the deposit will be returned to you within a few days.
